The Serum N°02 is designed as an everyday solution for oily skin prone to dehydration: helping to regulate without drying, and purify without stripping.
It provides long-lasting hydration, helps reduce shine, and contributes to limiting the appearance of imperfections.
This formula combines 30% active ingredients carefully selected to meet the specific needs of oily skin, without compromising its hydration.
Glycerin (18.6%), combined with our Hydrating Complex (1.5%), helps maintain optimal hydration throughout the day to preserve skin comfort.
Niacinamide (6%) helps regulate excess sebum, visibly refine skin texture, and reduce shine.
Sage Extract (2.4%) complements this action with its purifying and astringent properties.
Our complex combining Zinc Sulfate, Vitamin B6, and Algae Extract (1.5%) helps limit excess sebum and reduce the appearance of imperfections.

This has become my essential hydrating serum for my oily skin; the glycerin in it really makes all the difference. It never irritates my skin, even when everything else causes reactions because it's sensitized by excessive exfoliation or tretinoin. I apply it morning and night and adjust the amount according to my skin's condition.

Should the skin be damp or dry before applying Serum No. 02?
For Serum No. 02 Sebum, we recommend applying it to slightly damp skin.
Is Serum No. 02 suitable for all skin types?
Serum No. 02 is formulated for oily skin prone to shine and minor imperfections, including sensitive skin. Its blend of active ingredients helps regulate sebum and mattify the skin while maintaining its moisture balance. When using this serum, an additional hydrating serum is not necessary.
Is Serum No. 02 safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Serum No. 02 does not contain any active ingredients that are recognized as posing a risk during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
We specifically formulated it with the needs of pregnant and breastfeeding women in mind by using sage extract instead of salicylic acid.
Should Serum No. 02 be used in the morning or at night?
This sebum-control serum can be used in the morning or in the evening. For the recommended application order, please refer to Questions 5, 6, and 7.
How should I incorporate Serum No. 02 into my skincare routine?
In the morning, apply Sebum Serum No. 02 to slightly damp skin (after a spritz of thermal spring water, a facial mist, or following cleansing with a gentle cleanser), then follow with your moisturizer and/or SPF.
In the evening, apply Sebum Serum No. 02 to clean, freshly cleansed skin.
For guidance on layering with Vitamin C or retinoids, please refer to Questions 6 and 7 below.
Can Serum No. 02 be used with Vitamin C?
If you are using pure Vitamin C, you can apply Sebum Serum No. 02 after your pure Vitamin C product.
If you are using a Vitamin C derivative, Sebum Serum No. 02 can be applied before or after your Vitamin C treatment. The order of application mainly depends on the texture: if your Vitamin C product has a thicker texture than Serum No. 02, it should be applied after Serum No. 02. If its texture is similar to that of Serum No. 02, you can apply Vitamin C either before or after Serum No. 02.
Can Serum No. 02 be used with retinol or retinoids?
For retinoids such as retinol, retinaldehyde, or prescription retinoids, applying Serum No. 02 after your retinoid is perfectly suitable. (A quick reminder: always apply retinoids to dry skin and use them only in the evening!)
Serum No. 02 is generally safe to use alongside prescription retinoids; however, if you have any concerns, it is always best to consult your dermatologist.
How long does Serum No. 02 last?
When used morning and evening, with 2 to 3 drops per application, Serum No. 02 should last approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
Where is Serum No. 02 made?
Serum No. 02 is proudly formulated and made in France. The bottle, manufactured in Spain, is made with 20% recycled glass. The pipette is manufactured in Italy.
Can Serum No. 02 be used by men?
Absolutely. Skincare is first and foremost about caring for and maintaining healthy skin, regardless of gender or sex. :)
