Description

Serum N°05 is a complete, daily solution for skin prone to hyperpigmentation spots.

It helps reduce spots, protects the skin from oxidative stress, and provides long-lasting hydration.

This formula combines 15.5% of carefully selected active ingredients to act on the different mechanisms involved in the appearance of pigment spots while preserving skin comfort.

Our Hexylresorcinol Complex (4%) helps reduce the appearance of spots and improve skin tone uniformity. Niacinamide (4%) complements this action by helping to limit melanin transfer and strengthen the skin barrier function.

3-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (3%), a stable vitamin C derivative, provides an antioxidant action and helps revive skin radiance.

Our Hydrating Complex (2.5%) helps attract water, retain it long-lastingly in the skin, and limit dehydration to preserve daily comfort.

Finally, Succinic Acid (2%) completes the formula with its antioxidant properties and helps maintain a visibly more even complexion.

I love the texture

I love both the texture of this product and its scent—it's subtle and pleasantly neutral. I apply this serum every morning before my moisturizer and SPF. Its silky texture leaves my menopausal skin feeling nourished without causing any irritation. As for dark spots, I haven't noticed any new ones, although I do wear SPF every day and use retinol every evening.

Should the skin be damp or dry before applying Serum No. 05?
Due to its emulsion-like texture, Serum No. 05 can be applied to dry or very slightly damp skin.
Is Serum No. 05 suitable for all skin types?
Serum No. 05 is suitable for all skin types prone to hyperpigmentation.
Is Serum No. 05 safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
The formula of Serum No. 05 does not contain any active ingredients known to pose a risk during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Should Serum No. 05 be used in the morning or in the evening?
This dark spot serum can be used in the morning or evening. For the order of application, please refer to Questions 5, 6, and 7.
How should I incorporate Serum No. 05 into my skincare routine?
In the morning, Dark Spot Serum No. 05 should be applied to dry skin, followed by your moisturizer and SPF (SPF is highly recommended to help prevent the appearance of new dark spots). In the evening, this dark spot serum should be applied to clean skin. For guidance on layering with Vitamin C or retinoids, please refer to Questions 6 and 7 below.
Can Serum No. 05 be used with Vitamin C?
If you are using pure Vitamin C, we recommend performing a patch test before applying it followed by Serum No. 05, to ensure that your skin tolerates both products well. If you are already used to using a Vitamin C derivative, this dark spot serum already contains one.
Can Serum No. 05 be used with retinol or retinoids?
For retinoids such as retinol, retinaldehyde, or prescription retinoids, applying Serum No. 05 after your retinoid is perfectly suitable. (A quick reminder: always apply retinoids to dry skin and use them only in the evening!) Serum No. 05 is generally safe to use alongside prescription retinoids, but if you have any concerns, it is always best to consult your dermatologist.
How long does Serum No. 05 last?
When used morning and evening, with 2 to 3 drops per application, Serum No. 05 should last approximately 6 to 8 weeks.
Where is Serum No. 05 made?
Serum No. 05 is proudly formulated and made in France. The bottle, manufactured in Spain, is made with 20% recycled glass. The pipette is manufactured in Italy.
Can Serum No. 05 be used by men?
